For more than 30 years, our team has provided community revitalization services, rooted in data and technology, to public and private sector clients. Our core capabilities remain our award-winning ePropertyPlus software, a property management system developed in consultation with Center for Community Progress and Michigan land banks, and our insightful business consulting services. Today, we support more than 30 government and private sector community development organizations nationwide.

eProperty Innovations LLC includes ePropertyPlus™, our property management system, and eProperty Solutions, our strategic consulting services.

Prior to 2019, eProperty Innovations was named STR. Grants LLC and was owned by parent company STR LLC.

As STR.Grants, we produced and managed the successful eGrantsPlus platform that supported the $8 billion HUD/CDBG-funded Road Home homeowner rebuilding program for victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Upon the sale of the eGrantsPlus platform in 2019, STR LLC was renamed Defense BudgETT and STR.Grants L.L.C. was renamed eProperty Innovations LLC.

Brian White - Director of Strategic Engagement

Brian White is a mission-motivated community development professional able to exercise strategic leadership and create social impact in the fields of community development, social entrepreneurship and sustainability. In his capacity as Director of Strategic Engagement for Community Development, Brian and other STR team members work with current and prospective clients to leverage data, information and technology to advance comprehensive community revitalization strategies. His work utilizes his diverse expertise in land banks; affordable housing; real estate finance; community banking and lending; public policy; fair housing; multifamily housing development and finance; planning; financial literacy; and related topics. With over 18 years of experience, Brian has been recognized for innovative program design, commitment to social justice, and competence in business management.

Prior to joining STR, Brian founded Communities by Design, a boutique community development consulting practice focused on many of the same areas. He also served as the first Executive Director of the Cook County Land Bank Authority, was the regional CRA manager for Charter One Bank in Illinois, and was the founding Executive Director of Lakeside Community Development Corporation, a 501c3 neighborhood housing and community development organization. Brian has a MA in Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also worked on a PhD.

Sangamaeswaran Thangaraj - Chief Architect

Mr. Thangaraj is responsible for the overall product administration and development of our ePropertyPlus™ property management system. His career includes experience in end to end development, solution design, and operations management over a number of enterprise applications. Mr. Thangaraj leads a comprehensive team responsible for front- and back-end development, dev-ops, and customer technical support. 

Mindy Barton - Software Solutions Specialist
Mindy Barton’s career has been spent designing, implementing and supporting web-based software in the SaaS community. Her domain experience includes Property Management, Asset Management, Procurement, Catalog, CRM and other disciplines. Her customer base ranges from small towns and municipalities to Fortune 100 companies. Mindy excels working with organizations to identify their issues, processes and concerns, enabling her to architect solutions that result in an increased return on investment and improved customer satisfaction.
In addition to delivering SaaS solutions, Mindy knows what it’s like to implement new software into an organization, giving her insight into the challenges implementing presents. Mindy’s dedicated not only to creating a customer solution to meet current requirements, but she has demonstrated experience in identifying process and automated solutions which will grow and service the customer long-term.
Mindy is based in Fairfax, Virginia.​
Don Clark - Senior Business Analyst
Don Clark is a seasoned software analyst who comes to eProperty Innovations with experience as a product owner and product analyst with several startup and rebuild software products. Don’s primary responsibility at eProperty Innovations is to manage the ePropertyPlus product development framework. This entails grooming the product backlog, gathering and validating customer requirements, and organizing product sprints. Don will also support existing customers to resolve issues in using ePropertyPlus.
When not working on ePropertyPlus, Don pursues writing projects and as much outdoor activity as time permits.
Don is based in Chicago, Illinois.​
Scott Danielson - Customer Success Lead
Scott Danielson brings over 10 years’ customer support and success management experience to eProperty Innovations. As Customer Success Lead, Scott provides first response support for ePropertyPlus users to troubleshoot common issues and triages support requests to other members of the team as (rarely) required. Scott also curates our online knowledge base of Help Text articles, organizes user group trainings, and looks for other ways to help make work easier and more productive for our ePropertyPlus subscribers. Scott has a background in theater and performing arts and lives in Chicago.​
